The Locusts Manor Tier List
S through D for items, jobs, and habits in House of The Locust.
House of The Locust has no gacha roster, so a tier list here is not a unit ranking. It is a priority ranking for the nest this wiki calls The Locusts Manor: which items to chase first, which squad jobs convert into an Escaped badge, and which habits look smart in clips and fail in a live lobby. People and hunter tells live on Entities. Raw how-to lives on Guides. Co-op jobs get their own child page at co-op roles.
Ranks assume the current pre-alpha EXIT: Wirecutters, Key, and Keycard, with The Locust as an instant-kill hunter. Lights Out variants from the Boiled One update can shuffle the sequence. They do not make the Keycard optional.
Item priority
S — Wirecutters. Deterministic puzzle. Once you know pads, this is the only item you can force. First objective on almost every seed. Full route: cube puzzle.
S — Keycard. Highest risk, lowest busywork. One successful pin beats five minutes of cabinets. It is S because the run cannot end without it, not because you should grab it first while cubes still sit on the floor. Steal guide: Keycard.
A — Key. Mandatory, fully random, low mechanical skill, high time tax. A squad with Cancel-empty discipline makes it routine. A solo can lose the run here to bad luck. Cabinet loop: escape walkthrough.
B — Cubes as stairs. Useful tech, not an item you keep. It saves a detour and also wedges the puzzle. Use it, then put the cube back on a pad.
D — Fourth items. Flashlights, random props, cosmetic gear. They do not open EXIT. Drop them if they eat a hand slot you needed for Wirecutters.
Habit priority
S — Audio on. Footsteps and breathing beat ESP and beat a teammate who types “behind you” three seconds late. Headphones are a rank-up.
S — Slide to break chases. Straight-line sprint is D-tier. Slide-into-geometry is how you buy cabinet time. Bindings: controls.
A — Cancel empty cabinets. The empty animation is the real Key tax. Cancel, move, repeat.
A — One cube at a time. Two cubes is how pads stall for a minute while The Locust arrives.
B — Free Roam practice. Does not teach puzzles. Does teach corners. Do it before a badge attempt, not instead of one.
D — Mute plus tunnel vision. The nest is mixed for sound. Playing muted is a self-imposed Lights Out.
D — Injecting four script hubs. They fight each other. One GUI or none.
Job priority (summary)
Full write-up is on co-op roles. Short version for a four-stack:
- S: Bait / hunter-watcher
- S: Cube carrier
- A: Cabinet sweeper
- A: Keycard thief (can be the bait after a pin)
- C: Loot tourist who follows whoever screamed last
Solo players have to rotate S jobs in that order: pads, then cabinets while sliding, then the steal, then EXIT. Do not start on the steal because a clip made it look short.
What we refuse to rank
We will not rank DoctorNowhere creatures that are not in this place. We will not rank MM2 of The Locust knives. We will not rank codes because there are none. We will not rank Trello cards because there is no Trello. Those searches belong on the links hub as a redirect, not as fake S-tiers.
When NULLWORKS adds a second hunter or a new tool, this hub will grow a child page rather than stuffing a second meta into the same list. Until then, the only meta is the four-step chain on the escape walkthrough, and the only S-tier flex is leaving the nest with audio still on.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers for The Locusts Manor on Roblox.
What should I chase first?
Wirecutters via the cube puzzle, unless a teammate is already seating cubes. Then Key, then Keycard, then EXIT.
Is the Keycard really S-tier if it is so dangerous?
Yes. Danger is why it is S. The run cannot end without it. Read how to get the Keycard.
Where is the character tier list?
There is no roster. Hunter tells are on The Locust. Squad jobs are on co-op roles.
Do scripts change the tier list?
They change risk, not the EXIT prompts. ESP does not make the Keycard optional. See scripts.
