How to Escape The Locusts Manor

Escaping The Locusts Manor means finishing House of The Locust’s four-step chain and walking the bright corridor behind the EXIT door. The hunter is the pressure. The puzzles are the lock. If you try to improvise a fifth item or a secret vent, you will waste the run. This page is the full order. Deep dives for the two hardest steps live on the cube puzzle and the Keycard steal.

The walkthrough video in the middle of this article is a real Roblox recording of the Key, Keycard, and Wirecutters route. Use it as motion reference, then read the text when a spawn does not match the clip. Pre-alpha pads move.

Step 1 — Seat the colored cubes

Find the three pads painted red, yellow, and blue. They are the only landmark you should memorize on a fresh lobby. Everything else is a corridor that can lie to you.

A route that still works on many seeds, described from the pads:

  • Turn around, take the path to the right, keep moving until you see a low slot in the wall, slide through, and the Yellow Cube is on your left.
  • Face the pads, turn right, climb the white wooden wall, take an immediate left, then the right pathway for the Red Cube.
  • From the Red Cube, keep walking that path to the end for the Blue Cube.

Carry one cube at a time. Reset your route between carries. If a cube wedges in a doorframe or a stair, jiggle it with small strafe inputs instead of slamming sprint. Some players use a cube as a stair to clear a short wall — that trick is real, and it is also how cubes get stuck. If you are the designated carrier, do not also be the bait. Role split is on the co-op tier list.

When all three cubes sit, a rope drops from a ceiling hatch. That rope is the Wirecutters. Interact. Do not stand under the hatch celebrating; The Locust still pathfinds through celebrations.

Step 2 — Search cabinets for the Key

The Key is a random wooden cabinet. There is no highlight and no unique creak. Open the Search prompt, wait, Cancel if the cabinet is empty so you skip the long empty animation, and move to the next. A squad should split floors or wings and call “clear” so two people do not empty the same row.

Cabinets can kill you if you tunnel on the prompt while The Locust closes. Slide-bait the hunter into a wall, then Search. If you hear breathing on the prompt, Cancel and leave. The Key does not despawn because you got scared.

Solo loops should always end at a corner you can slide. Dead-end cabinet alcoves are how first-hour players donate the run.

Step 3 — Take the Keycard off The Locust

The Locust carries the Keycard. You do not craft it, buy it, or find it in a cabinet. You steal it. Touching the hunter is an instant kill, including some through-wall cases if you linger.

Safe patterns, in order of how often they work:

  1. Slide so The Locust runs into world geometry and loops on a wall. Reach through the gap and take the card.
  2. Wait until it faces away, walk up, grab, immediately slide out. This is greedy. Do it only with audio confirming the facing.
  3. After a death, the card can be picked up off the body or the last position. Teammates should cover that pickup, not all pile onto the corpse.

The Keycard guide is the longer version of those three patterns, including why a wall grab still kills you if you mash the prompt.

Step 4 — Unlock EXIT and walk out

The door at the far end of the nest is the only ending that awards Escaped. Prompts appear in sequence:

  1. WireCutter Needed — use the Wirecutters on the wiring panel.
  2. Key Needed — use the Key.
  3. Keycard on the reader.
  4. Walk the bright corridor. Do not turn around for clips.

If a prompt does not appear, you are missing that item, not a hidden fourth tool. Go back to the step you skipped. Some players find the door first and then reverse the chain; that is fine as long as all three items still land on the door.

Failure modes that look like “bugs”

Pre-alpha means some of these are bugs and some are you:

  • Cubes that refuse to seat — jiggle, drop, pick up, reseat. Do not assume the pad is broken until you have tried a drop.
  • Cabinets that “do nothing” — you probably need to Cancel and re-prompt after a chase.
  • Keycard prompt through a wall that still kills you — you stood too close. Re-pin the hunter deeper into the mesh.
  • EXIT that never opens — you used items in the wrong order or you are on a Lights Out variant from the Boiled One update. Re-read the prompt text, not a memory of an August clip.

After you escape

The Escaped badge is rare on purpose. If you want a cleaner second run, open How to Play for movement habits you skipped, then the entity page so you stop treating the hunter like a jump-scare instead of a patrol. Codes are still not part of the loop; the codes hub is there so you do not waste a search on fake lists.

Keep this walkthrough and the two child guides in a tab group. The nest changes. The chain does not.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for The Locusts Manor on Roblox.

What three items open the EXIT door?

Wirecutters from the cube pads, the Key from a random cabinet, and the Keycard carried by The Locust.

Can I escape without the Keycard?

Not on the current nest. The reader still asks for it. Steal it or pick it up after a death.

Why is the Escaped badge so rare?

About 2.5 percent of players unlock it. The hunt, not the puzzles, is what cuts most runs.

Did Boiled One change this chain?

Lights On / Lights Out maps and a new sequence arrived on 31 August 2026. The original three-item EXIT still teaches the nest. See Boiled One.
